Really enjoyed this book, the first line hits HARD and drew me straight in! Academy setting with some dystopia a la student deaths, interesting magic system, and well written character relationships, with action that kept me hooked. Went on to read book 2 but it's not out until next year, no! A great and easy read! Only not 5 stars because I thought sometimes

Nessa was inconsistent with who she trusts, and some of the plot points I guessed early on
