Normally bully romances are not a trope I enjoy reading but this book is in the middle of the damn series and who am I to skip it….then it turned out to be so much more. Was he an ass to her in high school? Yes. Were some of the things he said and did to protect her…YES. There is depth to these characters, insecurities, flaws and a deep desire for love and acceptance. The journey is long to get there but it’s so worth it.
