Ms. Marvel (2014-2015) #1 by Adrian Alphona, G. Willow Wilson, Ian Herring, Sara Pichelli

4.0

I honestly didn't know anything going into this comic, but I really enjoyed it. Since it was so short (being a single comic), I finished this in like five minutes. I loved the concept of a Muslim Pakistani-American being a hero in this kind of story, but I was very confused at the end, to be honest. I am not sure who she was talking to (it showed her favorite heroes, but I have no idea if it was really them). She told them what she wanted, and I really think that is going to cause problems within her family and just everyone she knows. I am interested to see where this series will go, so I definitely plan on picking up the rest of the series very soon. Overall, the artwork was beautiful, the dialogue was great, and I am super excited to get my hands on the next issue in this series!
