Care Work: Dreaming Disability Justice by Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha

4.0

incredible perspective, far outside most stuff I've read in terms of disability rights. a chronicling of queer-POC-disabled justice movements in one activist's personal experiences, and highlights just how much work is involved in 'doing the work.' the essays really range in tone and content, and are sometimes are repetitive, which makes sense considering they are drawn from a mish-mash of blogs and publications, but it's so worth it
