This was not my thing. Kind of already expected it but wanted to give it a try anyway (only because of some hype on bookstagram/booktok). Not going to read the rest of the series. Too much politic and military talk (and praise) and bible quotes for my taste.
Ash is always very dominant and possessive. Greer is kind of a doormat to everyone, especially her "best friend" who really isn't a friend at all. She's a jealous arrogant mean bitch. The only lovable characters to me were Ash's assistant and Embry.
