Mossa and Pleiti are back with another mystery! This one involves a series of disappearances at the university so, naturally they need each other's help. While the world-building was still interesting in this one, it lacked the novelty simply because it was the second book and didn't expand too much from the first in the series. I liked watching their relationship develop and there were some great moments. Ultimately I didn't like it as much as the first one, but found value in it. It's such a specific vibe and great for fans of Sherlockian mysteries and science fiction.

Thanks to Tor for my copy of the book!
