I need to process what I’ve just read……I didn’t think I had gotten so attached to these characters….i have.
This book definitely feels like the conclusion to a series- I know there are two more books but this one rounds off Feyre and Rhysand’s story. There was so much action that I kept reading to the end- even with tears streaming down my face.
Sarah J Maas knows how to write fantasy.
This book was a bit of a slow burn to start with but it really started to pick up around the half way point, so much that I didn’t want to put it down!
I can’t say too much about the plot without giving stuff away but I did really like that we see character development with a lot of characters, especially Feyre’s sisters Nesta and Elain.
They become their own characters and I loved that. Nesta is strong and Elain is brave.
The bond between the three sisters is heart warming and I’m glad that I got to read it as the story progressed.
My one word of warning is don’t get attached to characters, because your heart will break.
I think I need a minute before I move onto A Court of Frost and Starlight but I highly enjoyed this book
I am still thinking about it, which means it was a good read!
5/5 stars!
I’d recommend this series!
