A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

4.25

These books continue to surprise me with how much I like them. This one in particular took a LONG TIME and I do wish that Maas wrote with a little more intention at the beginning because it would have really helped keep my engagement throughout. The sex scenes were sooo hetero (these books are all raging heterosexuality) and didn’t really do anything for me lol and I really hate the “fated mate” storyline.
Am I actually excited for Elain and Azriel’s story where she fights against the mating bond??
I read this book for Nesta’s journey and honestly was incredibly satisfied. Although it would be much more interesting if she was bi. The way Nesta talks about women, she should absolutely be bi and no one can change my mind lol. A couple things kept popping up that I really didn’t enjoy but as a whole, I am glad I read this and finished out the series.

PS THANK GOD I got out of Feyre’s head. She is either incredibly insufferable (first 2 books) or super boring to the point where I just pretended she wasn’t even in the story (3rd book). Nesta is so much more interesting.
