The Becoming of Noah Shaw
by Michelle Hodkin
As a loyal fan of reading spin off series’ to a book series that I liked or enjoyed, I knew I had to get my hands on this copy. I was beyond excited when I finally got around to this one.
The Becoming of Noah Shaw is told in the perspective of our main male character from the Mara Dyer Trilogy. We get to learn a little bit more about his character and his family in some chapters.
Now, if you are unfamiliar with this world, I should suggest to read the Mara Dyer Trilogy before devouring this one, also, there are a lot of trigger warnings in this book, and if you are squeamish or just uncomfortable with stuff like: sexual assault, self-harm, suicide, and so forth, I do not recommend you should read this or any of the other novels, but if you take all of that out, it was a great book and very entertaining, most of the time.
Last but not least, the last couple of pages had me in shocked, and begging for the next novel, which is bizarre since I gave this one three stars, but you never know if the next one will be better, right?
