A wolf shifter and ex FBI agent investigates small town murders. He's alpha wolf all the way, and rather typical of Zanetti's PNR MMCs - arrogant, bossy and fiercely protective, and she's intuitive and relentless. She's also too hard-headed at times, to the point of irritation. There's insta attraction but they take some time to get the tango going, since he's a suspect. I truly liked their romance, the strong chemistry, the push pull, the trust building, the bonds, the emotions and the steam!

He deems her as his mate, and holds nothing back to get her. The 'you're MINE' energy is very much there, and I was in the mood for it. I also liked how she balances her submission. This world is a bit darker/gorier, and it's a trip uncovering their secrets/murders. Rather abrupt HFN to end though, their story to be continued.
