The Wicked King by Holly Black

so i read cruel prince in may and initially didn't liked it was kind of disappointing, but when i got into reading the THE WICKED KING it took me away, i completed the book in a day, and now i love cruel prince even more, the simplicity of characters and complexity of the worlbuilding made it easier to understand wicked king much much better!!!
*mild spoiler ahead*
the whole storyline was amazing i loved how still Jude and Cardan arent lovers yet but have feeling, which makes the enemies to lover arc much better. After knowing Cardan's past and his explanations there is definately a new found sympathy for him, his character arc just kept getting better and Jude, my dearest jude, she is such a amazing and passionate character.
She loves hom she cares about and my fearless wife (yes mine, cardan find someone else)
i can't wait to read the next book!!
AND THE ENDING
thats something i adore about Holly Black, the endings. It was utterly and completely mind blowing so many things happening at ones and the end just stabs you!!
so yes it was a amazing read and go read it!!
