I did not want to read this at first because this is NA and I did not want to get stuck reading childish/immature actions by the heroine. And when I was reading the first chapter, I was rolling my eyes thinking that this was just another rich brat "rebelling" because of a shallow reason. I'm so glad that these assumptions did not stop me from reading because I would've missed out big time.
Basi/Basil/Basilia is definitely a brat, but I loved her character. The sharp tongue that's always ready with a witty comeback, the way she thinks that's so unexpected for a 21-year-old, the way she's afraid of the predators but doesn't back down, her natural charm when she dealt with the trouble cases and won them over... she's just so much more than I expected her to be.
Kyros is just so damn hot. He can boss me around anytime.
And that bomb in the end, I'm so glad I read this when the series is finished because I can only imagine the agony of having to wait for the 2nd book in the series.
