Hope: A Tragedy by Shalom Auslander

4.0

I was iffy on this book based on the description. It just seemed like something I might not enjoy that much, but from the first words I was hooked. I found it quite humorous even though the subject matter is not very funny...it was really interesting. I mean finding someone who thinks she is Anne Frank in your attic, having a mom who pretends to be a holocaust survivor, dealing with all of them doesn't seem like it would be that humorous. The way it was written however made me chuckle to myself - not laugh out loud funny, but humorous.
