So, I loved book one, it was so good. And I'm not even too much into sci-fi.
The second book kinda reminder me why im not too much into sci-fi ... I don't know, the setting just didn't do it for me.
Ambrose's character for one half of the book (iykyk) seemed off to me. I really enjoyed him in book one but here? Not so much.
I liked spending time with Owl. Yes, she was a little immature but she was also 15 so that worked for me. Yarrow is more complicated.I thought we were going into mental illness with him which would have been so interesting to explore considering they are just three humans and an AI on a foreign planet but we went a complete different direction and that really missed the mark for me.
But then again, I binged this in four days (that's fast for me) which means I was well entertained so 3.5 stars it is.
