Shoutout to @janesuuch for encouraging me to read this sooner than I probably would have. Okay, I loved this book! I loved it being a romance that had a lot of dark imperfect storylines. This felt more real. I know the running joke with romance books is that this would never happen in real life and this felt like it could. I just adored Gus and his dumb boyish charm, being completely clueless to how he had been treating January. The characters had the BEST banter, the Taylor Swift references were everything, and I just adored January. I loved that her story line wasn’t completely consumed by her love interest, but her personal life. This was a beautiful story of how life can be both ugly and beautiful at the same time, which is my favorite type of read. Honestly the worst part of this book is the title it’s so confusing to tell my friends about.
