A Thorn in the Saddle by Rebekah Weatherspoon

3.25

This was my favorite in the series but it still felt like it was missing something.

Also the FMC's ex was never fully fleshed out but was then a cause of conflict and I was so confused. But we also see her refer to him as her dominant like twice in passing but with no further explanation. I think if we wanted to see the aftermath of the relationship actually impact her and see him as a villain or some type of contradictory character I think we needed something more fleshed out. Also the MMC's lack of experience was a bigger thing in the summary and he discusses his past difficulty with intimacy but then it just never is brought up again. He suddenly has no problem with the FMC. And I get it, its supposed to be different with FMC because she's different but even if that was the case I think that difference needed to addressed. Something as simple as him saying, its never been this easy maybe it's because we have a connection or something like that (I am not an author LOL ). The point being it was a conflict that was just like not resolved properly in my books.

Also loved the therapy rep and having hard conversations with family and establishing boundaries, very very nice to see.

Overall though a fun read I did kind of enjoy, with the exceptions of the above mentioned gaps.
