Blame It on the Tequila by Fiona Cole

5.0

“It was one thing to crave a boy—it was another when that boy stood across a forbidden line with a million consequences on the other side.”

I know I’ve said this before, but those were just practice runs for this...

BLAME IT ON THE TEQUILA IS MY FAVORITE NOVEL BY FIONA COLE!

No hesitation. No maybe. No tie with another. It’s hands down my favorite.

She was unapologetic with the level of angst Nova and Parker put us through. The step-sibling forbidden feelings had my heart aching for them. The slow burn, the buildup, every stolen moment they shared was beautiful. Torturous. All consuming.

Not only was this my favorite type of romance, but it also includes some of the best friendships. Nova’s girl gang was back with their fierce loyalty, but we also meet Parker’s band The Haunted Obsession. They added an extra spark to this story that I absolutely loved. There was never a dull moment when Ash, Oren, and Brogan were on the page.

Also, I like to note that I may have DIED in the best way during Chapter 26! I probably should have, but I was NOT expecting that scene!
