This book was absolutely incredible. I’ve read the Me Before You series by Jojo Moyes, so I was hopeful I would love this just as much and it didn’t disappoint.

We meet the girls at the Packhorse Library in a small corner of Kentucky. Girls on horseback spreading sinful tales to the townsfolk, how uncouth. There are lots of wonderful women in this tale of love, loss and sheer devastation. You could really feel Moyes had done her research extensively on the time period and the history surrounding the story.

There was not one thing I did not enjoy while reading this; I devoured the story easily and hungrily. A beautiful read with trigger warnings for domestic violence.
