Finding Me by Viola Davis

5.0

An absolutely incredible autobiography. I loved Viola Davis so much in How To Get Away With Murder and being able to learn more about her life, her inner thoughts, and her experiences made me love her even more. It's safe to say she is my favorite actor. The book follows her life from about age 5 (I think) up to now, and I remember being so moved and flooded with emotion and connection that I was crying by page 9. I sobbed at times. I saw my own experiences in her. I saw gratitude for my own life as I read about hers. Her writing drew me in and kept me interested and following along, without it being overly dramatic or fluffy. 5/5 stars - I recommend this to anyone and everyone
