Action packed sequel.
Avelyn unsure whom to trust, is on the run from anyone trying to use or abuse her power.

We get more immersing experiences in this book and the twins connection is explained here as well.
We're introduced to some new characters and we get to delve into Myers childhood plus I'm glad the thing with Arin is resolved since a triangle would be futile
OH and I really like the big reveal..... I love how the authors end with key notes!

There weren't much Side characters' development, we get Myers background but nothing more afterwards, we focus of Ben and Avelyn for most of the time... So I suppose that's why others took a backseat.
Aside from advancing in her powers nothing much happens here to further their cause.... Or maybe I missed it... But we have loads of running around both in reality and in virtual but either they are practice runs or for their lives.
In a nutshell, it's an entertaining read with tech aspects taking place in a dystopian world.
