The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton, James Patterson

4.0

Ok so I have to say that James Patterson is sort of my guilty pleasure. His writing style is so easy to read that it’s great for the beach or a commute. Doesn’t take much brain power but is usually a really entertaining story.

The collaboration was not one I expected in a million years, and if I’m honest I picked it up cheap in a deal. The red pages are actually quite annoying! (A side note)

Bill Clinton was never someone I’d intentionally promote or give money to, but this is not political!

The book is exciting, a traditional James Patterson... full of suspense, drama, twists and I think the only think bill Clinton really does add is the insider information about the layout of the Whitehouse, the political allegiances (though the characters are of course fabricated) and the sense that this really is how things run (whether that is true or not, we will never know)

The ending was a little disappointing - but overall I enjoyed it! And have recommended it
