I understand why some people absolutely adore this book but it became so repetitive and predictable to me after a few chapters, it was just boring.
I don't think it was for me, I'm not the biggest fan of the fake dating trope, and I'm really picky when it comes to YA romances in general.
I didn't enjoy reading whenever Ishu's parents or Hani's friends were on the pages (which happened a lot), and I know they're made to be annoying and that's the point, but they made me feel genuinely mad and it wasn't pleasant. Aisling was so one dimensional it was almost painful to read about. And don't even get me started onthe whole cheating biology test thingy. How could anyone believe Ishu cheated?? ? Infuriating.
It still gets 3 stars because it's cute some times and I love the diverse representation, even if the book wasn't my cup of tea.
