Game Point by Meg Jones

I have so many words to say about this book, because I’m obsessed with this tennis romance series. It’s so fun, I love the girls rivalry and friendship as it deepens with every book, and seeing Dylan go from a villian in the first book to the main character in book 2, I knew I’d be rushing to read this one! Dylan always chokes in competitions, she has a mental block that prevents her from winning any major competition and I love seeing her fight to conqueror this issue using different coaches, friends, and therapy techniques. It was refreshing seeing a main lead really take on and use counseling sessions, while also not making it the main focus, it’s just something to be done.

Oliver is looking to retire and become a coach and he isn’t willing to let Dylan give up just yet on her tennis career so he sets off to Australia to make her take him on as a coach, mostly because he believes in her, but he’s also the one that pushes her in a healthy way. I love friends to lovers, where the book starts off when they develop such a good friendship and it turns into so much more. That’s what happens with Oliver and Dylan.

I also loved seeing Scottie and Nico so much, especially as she developed a friendship with Dylan and helped her overcome some issues. These two are going to develop an amazing friendship as the series goes on and I hope to see it slightly in the next book!
