I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. Jennifer Haigh is a fantastic writer, I look forward to adding her other books to my list.
The synopsis of this book is a little misleading. It makes you think that the storyline revolves completely around Gwen's "condition", Turner syndrome (a real condition). Really, the novel has little to do with that. I wouldn't say there is a plot even. It's just a great story about a dysfunctional family (something for everyone to relate to!).
