I gave up on this book with less than 50 pages left. I've never done that before, but I just could not finish this book. I liked the writing style, and would probably try a different book by the author. But (mild spoilers ahead) the main character was irritating. Claiming to be in unrequited love with a woman for years, while also sleeping your way around town, was not endearing himself to me. And once he started explaining his sexual relationship with his 13 year old relative I noped right out. I didn't want to finish reading the book and find out that he had a happy ending, because I didn't really want him to. Again, it is definitely well written but I just couldn't take it anymore
