Read with the assistance of audiobook! I enjoyed this novel a lot more than Oliver Twist and I could see that Dickens had improved his characterization since then, but Dickens’s portrayal of young women was questionable at points. What interesting antagonists as well! Mrs. Trotwood was my favourite character!
