I should’ve know by the Prologue of Flock that this series would include nothing but devastation and heartbreak… it literally tells you from the off, but of course my wee hopeless romantic soul didn’t take notice.
What an absolute rollercoaster with SO MANY late night sessions, unable to stop listening. This hit different. I got so wrapped up in the characters, their relationships and the plot that when I got to the end of Exodus I feel a bit broken, almost as if I’ve lived it myself. I think listening to the audiobook probably contributed to how deep I fell into this story and I’ll be thinking about this book for a long time.
I’m in denial that there still another book to go because I’m not sure my heart can take much more - what a ride this has been so far! 100% recommend.
