I have a lot I could criticize about this book. A lot. Honestly, the longer I think about it, the longer my list gets. There were so many things that felt more fantasy than fiction. A number of characters I did not like and truly could have done without (I'm sorry, Six-Thirty fans). And though I devoured the last 100 pages, and though I almost cried multiple times, it also all seemed a little too much.
With that said, my immediate thought upon finishing this book was how much I loved it. It is not perfect, but it was quirky and entertaining. Full of light and dark moments, which made me feel all of my feelings. But most importantly, it starred Elizabeth Zott, and I absolutely adored her.
