Well-Schooled in Murder by Elizabeth George

4.0

I am rereading the Lynley series, and enjoying it. It's nice to read the next as I finish one instead of waiting for the new one to come out! This one features Deborah mourning a miscarriage (and there's a lot of angst about her guilt now about an abortion long ago that she has never told Simon about). Lynley, St. James, and Havers are investigating a murder connected to an upper-crust boarding school and there are the usual, obligatory false leads, wrong suspects, and concerns about social class. I was turned off by Deborah's prolonged agony but otherwise enjoyed the twists and turns.
