✎… what a gorgeous set of poems ♡
lang leav has been me inspiration for a very long time. i first experienced some of her poetry in high school, and since then have been creating my own poetry, most definitely because her work has motivated and inspired me to create my own.
her poems are so simple yet so gutteral. she uses simple language and delivers what the readers want to hear instead of dusting it with difficult language or structure. the way she uses simplicity is beautiful.
i also enjoy her style of poems - i love poetry that rhymes in a way that doesn’t feel forced, but almost feels like the natural flow of a sentence. lang leav does this so, so well !
i wish her poetry was a world i could live in. i thoroughly enjoyed this collection, and cannot wait to dive into the rest of her work. ♥︎
