A Knight's Tale meets My Lady Jane is the perfect way to describe this story, with the narrator and all. Though the tone is mostly lighthearted, it also deals with darker themes throughout, especially sexism. The chemistry between Gwen and Isabelle leaps off the page and their relationship is delightful to read about. My only qualm is that sometimes their voices tended to blend together.
All in all, a fun read if you like knights and dragons and adventure!
