What I Did Like:
+Right away I like the opening of this one. It felt different enough from the first three to really get my attention.
+Did I cheer at the new romance? Yup, totally did. Saw it coming, still cheered. Slow burn, that’s what this felt like.
+I appreciate that Sookie is always willing to learn about other people/beings and other lifestyles. It seemed even more obvious in this one when she was forced to ask about Wicca, but it did make me realize that she’s open to learning about everyone.
Who Should Read This One:
Fans of the series, obviously.
Basically, if you like the idea of a spicier vampire/paranormal romance with a hint of danger you’ll like this series.
My Rating: 3 Stars
This one is well done but, by this point, you really have to be into the series to enjoy this book.
