Okay, so...I don’t know how I feel about this? I’m not going to be giving it a rating because it was a schoolbook, but it feels like it would probably be around 3.5 stars?

I think, mostly, I was disappointed that the premise of the book at the very beginning was SO vastly different from the actual story. I was trying really hard to find the same whimsy and music in the rest of the book as was carried in the actual story...but I just didn’t feel it. The characters were fine, and this is 100% a personal thing—this book is good, and clean, and I think I’d give it to my little sisters with 0 reservations. But...personally, to me, it did not quite fly.

Oh well. :(
