You could tell early on what was kind of going on or at least connect some dots so I felt like the ending wasn’t much of a shock! I had heard such good things about this book but it fell kind of flat for me. Maybe I had too high of hopes for this one or the books I read before it were just better? I’ve enjoyed other books from Alice so I’m sure this is just a fluke of a book for me!
