This book was just okay for me. I really wanted to rate it higher, but the story didn't work for me. What really saved this book and gave it 3 stars was the writing. I loved the internal dialogue Blaire had. There was some great quotes from the witty and funny thoughts that the author made Blaire have. I love it when an author puts their sense of humor into the story!
On to the story... *Some spoilers*
It just fell flat for me. The whole relationships of Blaire/Shane and Shane/Izzy were confusing. Also, I disliked the back story and secret Ty had. It's not the specifics of it, it's the length of time between when he quit and getting with Blaire. Also, the reasons he did what he did were a little unethical (? I'm not sure that's the correct word I really want to use) and not worth it in my opinion.
Even though I had issues with some of the story lines, I will read another book from this author. I think the concept of the book and the writing were great.
