Diviner's Curse by Nicolette Andrews

5.0

Maea and Johai escape to Sanore in Neaux. Maea hopes to find a way to save Johai but once there her goal shifts to stop now King Adair and his plans and well as the birth of his son. Eventually she joins forces with Duke Jon Sixton who is a member of the order of the Oak it will surprise how she does it because I was definitely shocked. That decision pushes Johai further away from her which I didn't like because I thought that this was their chance to grow more closer and resolve their differentcences but you have to read the book to find that out. But on the other hand I know why she did it. While staying in Sanore she finds a Biski named Elenna who see also sees in her visions when she first arrived there. Elena has similar powers as Maea and informs her that there may be a slight chance to save Johai. But in all of this there is also the mystery of who was behind Princess Sarelle's death. I loved the high stakes the characters was up against in Book 2.
