Cut Her Strings by Sage RelleAnne, Sage RelleAnne

I really enjoyed the concept of this book with the Hunger Games meets Saw type challenges. The storyline and world building were both easy to follow and also interesting. It was often slightly confusing to fully comprehend some of the game rules & also hard to keep up with the numbers of the players with there being so many of them- but the more I read, the easier it was to keep up. I do wish there was more angst/tension/time regarding the FMC and the men she meets throughout the challenges, but that may just be a me problem because I don’t enjoy insta-love (or insta-lust, I guess.)

Overall this book kept me on the edge of my seat and made me not want to put it down! The game challenges were very unique and I never knew what was going to happen. I also really enjoyed reading all of the different POV’s, especially the Host’s. The ending kinda threw me for a loop and I’m not quite sure how I feel about it yet…. I will definitely be reading the 2nd book to get some answers on that though!

I received an ARC of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily & honestly.
