my god the third story!! MAURICE COUNT YOUR DAYS the journal account of this man gaslighting his wife into accepting his affair and picking apart all of her objections until she feels literally crazy.......... sickening. & THEN THERES EVEN MORE HE'S LYING ABOUT. reading it was so anxiety inducing and i just wish this woman would catch a break and not be influenced into blaming herself!!! she was absolutely ground down by a stupid dude who blamed his own mediocrity in his career on her for literally no reason & she loved him so much she believed him
