Behind the Red Door by Megan Collins
4.0

I was provided an ARC for an honest review.
.
Behind the Red Door is good - Megan Collins is a excellent writer keeping you in suspense and giving you just enough people to think who the culprit is. I really loved this book to a point. It kept me up staring at the ceiling thinking about it and then I just had to finish it.
.
But I found the ending, the final chapter, flat? I loved Fern's character development. As a mental health counselor watching her combat her fears and then her narcissistic parents was beautiful. However, I felt that it just ended. I wanted to see her stand up to all these people who put her in a box and call the police but ultimately Astrid is just as damaged as she is so I can see why we are left wondering.
.
Anyways, I would totally reccomend this book. It is a great read and Megan has such a good writing style that I will totally be looking forward to her next book.
