Aaaah such a sweet story about friendship and first love! It was dramatic and exciting and romantic, yet heavily focused on a realistic friendship, which I didn't originally think I would enjoy but turns out I loved. I really appreciate that it didn't sound like an adult trying to write as a teenager - I know the author had input from readers as to what slang and popular phrases to use, which made the entire book really authentic and current. I also think I loved this so much because I came back from Reading Festival literally yesterday, so it was fun to read about a festival and not have to forget the hype just yet!
