my first kristin hannah book and i can confidently say i will be reading everything else she’s written. her writing style is so unique and i love how she used 3rd person pov to describe everyone’s feelings and inner monologue. the story itself was moving and made me gasp plenty of times. i feel like there were a lot of character i could relate to and everyone was written so well, they’re all extremely well rounded characters and felt real! i love when am author can do that.
i didn’t cry haha which i think maybe i would have if i would have gone into the book without reading the synopsis and if i was reading the physical book so i think that’s not why it’s a 5 stars for me.
overall tho the character development of everyone was so unique and WRITTEN SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFULLY LIKE SHES SO TALENTED SO GOOD
