QOTD: Is this book on your radar?
Are you reading this week or are you busy?

This is my only my 2nd Holly Jackson book (I have yet to read A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder - I know I know). And boy does she know how to write a thriller. I remember The Reappearance of Rachel Price was full of twists and turns and this one follows suit.
I was hooked on this book right from the beginning. I really wanted to follow the read along schedule with the group but it was so hard not to read ahead. There were a lot of characters in this so the finger pointing at who did it was constantly changing. I know some people in the group were able to figure out who the culprit was but of course I had no idea.
Jet was such a great lead FMC. She was determined, funny, sassy, brilliant and overall was just so kick ass! Instead of coming to terms that she was going to die in 7 days, she wanted to find justice for herself. The book is her journey along with Billy to figure out who attacked her. What she didn’t entail the wild ride it would take them on.
I paired my reading with the audio and I thought Alex McKenna knocked it out of the park with the narration! I did have to laugh at her voice for Billy and another reader compared the voice to Froggy from The Little Rascals and I couldn’t unheard it after that. But overall I really enjoyed the audio! And even when I had to keep going and was listening to it on walks it was easy to follow.
I highly recommend if you are looking for a book that keeps you on your toes!
