Furyborn by Claire Legrand
4.0

I usually understand if I will love or not a book at page 3. With this one, instead, it took me more or less half of the book (and even there, I still wasn't  completely sure).
I started Furyborn with quite a lot of hype, mostly because every time I saw people taking about it they always said how good and original and underrated it was. And I *partially* agree with that.
The writing style is definitely something peculiar and different than what I'm used to read and I really liked this particual take on angels, but my main problem was how the book was divided: I didn't mind it that much, but it was annoying to have a change of POV /each chapter/ (some situations would have worked way better if Rielle and Eliana had sometimes two or three chapters instead of just one).
I must say that a good part of my rating was in fact given because of Eliana's storyline (I have a thing for assassins with a soft heart hidden deep down among their sorrows and sadness), I really liked to see her growth and I can't wait for the moment when she will finally embrace the woman she is destined to be. Rielle's one was okay, I guess, just I just didn't really clicked with her.

It's, to conclude, a book I would recommend, but not one I'm sure everyone would definitely love.
