This was my first read by Karla Sorensen, but definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed her writing style and the blending of all the emotions, turmoil, romance, spice, and family. I didn't realize I started at the last book in the series but I'm excited to go back to the beginning and read the rest of them.
Parker and Anya end up accidentally married in Vegas and that's always a fun trope for me. I think both of them are complicated characters that led to a lot of push and pull. While I don't feel like I missed anything from this couples story, I think if I had read the others in the series first I would've had a better understanding of back stories, other couple and side characters, and all the family dynamics.
Overall a fantastic read that has me excited to dive into more from this author and series.
