I Know My Name
by C.J. Cooke
A woman wakes on a remote Greek island with no recollection of who she is or how she got there. Meanwhile, in London, a man is searching for his missing wife, Eloise. Slowly we find out how these stories intersect, resulting in an incredibly beautifully written story.
I was captivated by this book after the first line, and the mystery of how everything would unfold kept me so engaged that I didn’t want to put it down. I went into reading this knowing there would be a twist, so I ended up suspecting the ending. However, I had many other guesses as to how the story would play out as well, so it wasn’t necessarily obvious. This was a refreshingly different type of thriller, and I’d highly recommend to those who are are fans of the psychological thriller genre.
