I am not a mother. Strange way to begin a review? Maybe, however the intensity in which the author portrays this woman, this mother, made me hold my breath and wince perhaps as a mother would thinking these thoughts. I almost stopped this story but something kept pulling me back in. I won’t forget this character quickly though for my emotional sanity I probably should. Wow.
