I have never read any of Anna's books before but I am intrigued to read the After we fell series. This book definetly gave me Colleen Hoover vibes with the complicated characters of Landen and Nora falling in love. All of the characters had interesting relationships with one and other which seem intertwined with Landens roommate and best friend being exes with Landens half brother. I feel like this book was just a bit too fast paced and it was slightly complicated getting to know all of the different characters and their relationships. It was almost an anti climax with the secret of Nora and the mystery of her husband. I still feel like we never got to know the truth of the accident and I feel like the book could have been longer to help give better back stories of the characters and not skipping over big character events. Plus the fact Landen was only 20 was slightly odd as he was protrayed as being this wise man. Update now upon reflection this book is no.2 in the series which would explain a lot if I read the first.
