This volume was a nice breather after the hell that was Volume 5, I don't think I could've taken any more angst, so this book was a nice change of pace.

First of all, I love that we started off with Daiki and Ren and Daiki being the best person ever as usual. Please give us an anime or live-action series or something so that I can see them be friends!!! Also, the little nod to the bonus chapter from the previous volume of how everyone instantly falls in love with Ren the second he smiles their way was super cute.

Daiki, why would you say anything to TSUKASA?! I love the girl to bits, but she is the biggest blabbermouth.

Tsukasa and Manabu share the same shipper brain cell and I love that for them. YĆ«'s reaction to Manabu literally smiling about the breakup was the only time I will ever allow myself to relate to him.

Also, everyone knows that President is the best shipper for actually throwing them into situations together that brought them closer, I love this cat the most.

Not only was this volume filled with amazing NinakoxRen scenes, but we also got a lot of RenxAndo scenes, and I for one am glad that there was a focus on them as well because it just made sense after everything that was revealed in the previous volume (especially the bonus chapter). This is the angriest we've seen Ando. We've seen him be emotional and dramatic and over the top - but never angry, not like this. And Ren retaliates! Ren is not always the most emotive character, so it was actually great to see him just snap because it's Ando. They're actually expressing themselves and we have the birth of one of my favourite exchanges - Stupid Ando/Stupid Ren.

My favourite panel has to be the one with Ren and Ando where we kind of get to see the impact that Ando had on Ren and what his friendship truly meant to him. I love seeing Ren's inner thoughts being shown regardless, but this specific bit of the volume was so darn sweet. I also really liked when Ando showed up at Ren's workplace and they finally had a proper conversation. Also, Ando, if you can tell exactly when he's happy and it clearly makes you happy as well, you're definitely still best-friends.

Last thing before I explode - I think it was a great choice to explicitly show the boys being in the same seating positions as they were in middle school with Ren sitting behind Ando.

NinakoxRen moments ranked:
1. Them behind the tree? BYE! How dare you do that to us?! That panel was gorgeous! If that scene was in an anime we would get some piano in the background and they'd have that tree be a cherry blossom tree so that they can have cherry blossoms flying around them.
2. SPEAKING OF CHERRY BLOSSOMS... Ninako getting the cherry blossom petals out of his hair was cheesy as hell and I loved it. (Shout out to Ando being the pettiest child on the planet and definitely shaking a cherry blossom tree until all its petals fell on him.)
3. "Ren always tells little white lies." YES NINAKO!!! (the locker room scene overall basically)
4. Ninako hiding behind the tree vs Ren hiding by the stairs - we love a couple with a shared brain cell. Dorks.
5. Not really and NinakoxRen moment, but props to Manabu for being the best shipper without even meaning to, Valentine's Day in manga is the only time I like Valentine's Day. So simple, yet so sweet.
