We Spread by Iain Reid

4.0

“We Spread” makes you see and feel the loneliness of old age, what it feels like to be old. That age isnt something to fear, that being “old” is a part of living a beautiful and full life. It was sad and sweet all at once.

Its definetly Iain Reids style of, quick confusing changes, not tell reality from fiction — very psychological. I dont know if I can say Ive figured out what was real and what wasnt. Im a little disappointed in that, but maybe I just didnt pick up on everything.

That being said, I think I liked the psychological thriller of “Foe” more. “We Spread” was definetly worth the read tho. If all Iain Reid books are made to movies, this will be a great one to see depicted.
