O Filho de Neptuno by Rick Riordan

5.0

Unlike to what happened to me while reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians - I always thought that the next book could never be better than the one I was reading, but then it always surprised me when I read the next book and it was actually even better -, I already knew how awesome The Son of Neptune was going to be.

It takes place months after the events in The Lost Hero
, which gave plenty of time to Leo to build Argo II,
and it is summer now. And in the first pages I got very confused because I didn't read the synopsis because Percy gave me the idea that he spent a lot of time alone during the events of The Lost Hero ... but then, I actually read the synopsis, and hey, I understood that Percy was asleep during those months.

The Son of Neptune focus a little bit more on Percy. The first chapters are all about him and he had an important role in the middle of this, but it was also important getting to know the new characters.

One of the things I loved ( one more ) about this book, was the differences between the greek and roman mythology, because it isn't just about changing the names, it changes their personalities, and in this book we learned more about roman mythology than in The Lost Hero.
